Drum Circle at Temenos
From 5:30 pm to 7:00 pmCome to Drum! Open to ALL, this Drum Circle celebrates and honors the past, the present and the future–from the positive to the challenging, and everything in between. We will be just on the other side of the August full moon, so we will feel those lunar energies just starting to soften as we gather. Between now and then, consider what intentions you want to set and what efforts you want to bring to new life. We are hoping/planning this as an outdoor event. For your personal comfort, please bring along whatever might be beneficial for you, such as water, chairs, unscented bug spray, etc. Rest rooms will be available. (if the weather is inclement, we will be in the Great Room of the Retreat Center). PLEASE: Try to arrive No Later than 5:30p if this is possible. This will allow time to unload from both your travel and your day, an effort that honors the gathering and everyone there, and especially yourself. Quiet reflection followed by a ceremonial opening of the Circle will be between 5:30p-5:45p Then–Drumming, Chanting, Singing, Dancing!… with the closing of the Circle around 6:45p-7:00p. If you have a drum or any other instrument, please bring it to be blessed! If you do not have any instrument or drum–know that you are doubly blessed by the effort of just bringing yourself. Please come and let’s enjoy this evening together. This event is being hosted by Jennifer Lipski. You may message her through her Facebook page or her business email address, if need be at http://www.Facebook.com/jennifermmw or Contact@jenniferlipski.com Donations for this Drum Circle are not expected, yet are appreciated–and will benefit the Temenos Retreat Center– in honor especially of our beloved friend and starter of this group, Christine Campbell, whose birthday is also on this date: “Above All Else, Love” Please register through the Meetup Event Link here “Above All Else, Love”
