Drum Circle with Jennifer LipskiFrom 11:00 am to 12:15 pm
Come to Drum! Drum Circle with Jennifer Lipski Saturday, May 28th from 11am-12:15pm Open to ALL, this Drum Circle celebrates and honors the past, the present and the future–from the positive to the challenging, and everything in between. We will be gathering to experience the unity that drumming brings to our circle—so that we may each carry that unity out into the world. Between now and then, consider what intentions you want to set and what efforts you want to bring to new life. We are hoping/planning this as an outdoor event. For your personal comfort, please bring along whatever might be beneficial for you, such as water, chairs, unscented bug spray, etc. Rest rooms will be available. (if the weather is inclement, we will likely be in the Great Room of the Retreat Center). PLEASE: Try to arrive No Later than 10:50a if this is possible. This will allow time to unload from both your travel and your week, an effort that honors the gathering and everyone there, and especially yourself. Quiet reflection followed by a ceremonial opening of the Circle will be between 11:00-11:10a Then–Drumming, Singing, Sound & Silence, Movement & Stillness— with the closing of the Circle around 12:15p If you have a drum, rattle or any other instrument, please bring it to be blessed! If you do not have any instrument or drum–know that you are doubly blessed by the effort of just bringing yourself. There will be a few extra drums and things on hand—first come first serve. Please come and let’s enjoy this morning of ritual and ceremony together. Donations for this Drum Circle are not expected, yet are appreciated–and will benefit the Temenos Retreat Center–in honor especially of our beloved friend and starter of this group, Christine Campbell: “Above All Else, Love” For more details, visit the Meetup link: https://www.meetup.com/Songsbetweenh…/events/285761559/… or email Jen at: Contact@jenniferlipski.com1564 Telegraph Road, West Chester, PA 19382
