“The Holy Way” Sunday Service and Congregation Meeting

2021-05-16 10:00 2021-05-16 11:00 America/Halifax “The Holy Way” Sunday Service and Congregation Meeting

“The Holy Way” Sunday Service followed by Temenos’ Church congregation meeting May 16, 2021 We are very pleased to welcome Rev. Roslyn Taylor* as our guest minister for this Sunday’s outdoor, livestreaming service. Using Psalm 77:13 as a starting place, we will consider what it means for us to travel “a holy way,” and how that fits in with Temenos’s mission to “honor all paths.” At the conclusion of the service we will be welcoming six new members, whose spiritual paths have lead them to the Temenos Community. The church service will begin at 10am, and our congregational meeting will begin at 11am. During this meeting there will be a vote by church members for Council positions. If you would like to worship with us in person, please arrive at the Retreat Center by 9:55am so that you may sign in (for contact tracing) and be seated. Please wear your mask, and bring sunglasses and a chair if you wish. We do provide folding chairs. In case of rain, the service will take place indoors and will be limited to 10 congregants due to current Covid regulations. This service will be livestreaming at 10am from our Facebook page ( www.facebook.com/TemenosCommunity ), and will later be available for viewing on our YouTube account “Temenos Community” and through our website. *About our guest minister: Rev. Roslyn (Ros) Taylor, a life-long Swedenborgian Christian, started attending Temenos church in 2001 and became a member a few years later. Her ministry includes hospital interfaith chaplaincy, leading the Home Church in Bryn Athyn, and traveling annually to her homeland Australia to help with Swedenborgian pulpit supply.
