It was a good day to harvest veggies in the community garden. It was humid with overcast skies but cooler than most days this past week. The total weight was 31 pounds (which included 7 pounds of cucumbers from my home garden).
Jacqui and Nina helped clean red and yellow onions that were harvested weeks ago, and are being stored in the pool shed at the Farmhouse.
There is so much need for food in the West Chester area. When Lynne delivered our produce to the West Chester Food Cupboard this morning, there were many more cars than usual lined up to receive food donations.
